Portugal, Republic. An Order Of Prince Henry The Navigator, I Class Grand Cross, C.1965 Newly Listed handpainted centrepiece(Ordem do Infante Dom Henrique, o Navegador). Instituted in 1960. In silver with red enamels, hallmarked on the reverse of the silver gilt loop, measuring 56. 8 mm (w) x 72 mm (h) inclusive of its integral suspension, tiny chip evident in the red enamels on the arm at 3 o'clock, along with crazing present on the arms at 3 and 6 o'clock, on its full length sash that incorporates a decorative moir pattern and features a large bow tie, near very fine.
